SOME IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT DELIVERY
1) This is sold as a Pick-Up to allow us to quote each customer’s delivery charges individually. We can quote delivery to your closest depot. Alternatively if you need delivery to your door a hiab truck will be required and will incur an additional cost on top of the 'to depot' delivery fee. If your driveway isn’t suitable for such a vehicle then this product may not be right for you without a carefully pre-planned work-around.
All of this can be quoted via our support team. Alternatively, you are welcome to collect this from our Auckland Headquarters, or make your own arrangements for collection.
2) You MUST be ready to receive your cabin when it lands in NZ as your storage costs at our 3rd party warehousing facility may be significant. For quote and delivery queries please email support@containerdoor.co.nz with your address and cabin style.
Installation note: We recommend unloading and checking all cabin parts before beginning installation, or before engaging a builder to help with labour estimates. (It can take a while to unpack and workout all the parts).
Resource Consent
You shouldn’t need resource consent for a cabin that's under 30m2, but we always recommend doing your own research!

Onduline:
We’re proud to include Onduline roofing with our cabins, offering you a superior upgrade at no extra hassle. We believe in providing the best protection possible, and Onduline delivers exactly that—exceptional durability, weather resistance, and low maintenance compared to standard felt. Designed to withstand heavy rain, strong winds, and UV exposure, it keeps your cabin secure and looking great for years to come. By including this premium roofing, we’re ensuring you get a long-lasting, high-quality finish that adds both value and peace of mind.
Care Instructions: Please note that our Natural Untreated Nordic Spruce cabin components are delivered in their natural state. Therefore, once assembled you must paint the cabin, windows and doors on the interior and exterior with at least a colourless wood preservative.
For all cabins, we recommend using environmentally friendly, water-based products for treatment. To preserve the cabin’s appearance and durability, reapply the protective coating at least every two years. Regular maintenance will help protect the timber and extend the life of your cabin.
HINTS:
- The construction pad must be absolutely level. It should be slightly smaller than the substructure.
- You must allow for air to circulate around the base, so there must be some elevation.
- You may want to treat the underside of the floor-boards and all foundation wood.
- You may want to buy some extra strapping for security.
- You may wish to put insulation under the floorboards.
ABOUT OUR SUPPLIER:
Our supplier, located in Europe, has been a manufacturer of high quality wooden cabins and other buildings for more than 20 years. They combine superior wood selection with modern technology and traditional craftsmanship, and have their own plant of precision machine tools to saw, plane and mill the individual parts to their exact specifications.
They use only carefully-selected Nordic Spruce. Its slow growth in Europe’s colder regions gives the wood a denser fibre than woods such as pine, making it more resistant to decay as well as strong and highly durable.
Their highly trained staff inspect not only the initial materials and components but also the finished pieces for quality assurance. In fact, they have implemented a quality management system that complies with the requirements of the ISO9001 standard, so you can rest assured they're experts who care about quality, not just some shonky cabin cowboys.
