This is proper premium outdoor furniture. The Gio is built with contract grade welded aluminium, quality finishes and COUTUREtex cushions designed specifically for life outside. And with New Zealand weather capable of serving up four seasons before lunch, good materials matter. If your furniture is going to live outside, it may as well be built to handle the drama.

The Oak Look version brings warmth and that relaxed resort feel, with all the character of timber but none of the sanding, staining or maintenance faff. Prefer something sharper? White and Anthracite give the Gio a clean, modern and seriously chic look.

The generous 7 seater layout gives you plenty of room for family, friends and the inevitable extra person who was “just popping in”, without the setting feeling oversized or bulky.

Premium Outdoor Fabrics & Materials

The Gio cushions are upholstered in COUTUREtex, a 100% solution dyed acrylic fabric designed specifically for outdoor use. It is waterproof, stain repellent and weatherproof, while still having a soft, premium feel.

COUTUREtex is also backed by a 5 year fabric warranty, so it is made to handle plenty of outdoor living while still looking good season after season.

The aluminium frames are finished using a premium powder coating process, giving them a tough, consistent surface designed to resist moisture, corrosion and UV exposure. The White and Anthracite finishes keep the Gio looking clean, modern and seriously chic, without the upkeep or deterioration you would expect from many traditional outdoor materials.

The Oak Look finish uses a heat transfer treatment applied directly to the aluminium frame, giving you the warmth and appearance of real timber without the usual sanding, staining or colour change. It is also UV resistant, which means less maintenance and more sitting around doing nothing.

Care & Maintenance

For regular cushion cleaning, use a soft brush or sponge with a neutral pH detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clear water after cleaning and allow the fabric to dry naturally.

Clean the aluminium frames with a soft cloth, mild soap and fresh water. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals or scouring pads.

For Oak Look frames, no timber oils, stains or preservatives are required. The heat transfer finish is designed to give you the look of wood without the usual timber maintenance.

Claws or rough surfaces can still damage the cushion fabric, so avoid dragging cushions across abrasive surfaces and keep sharp objects away from the upholstery.

If used in a coastal environment, rinse the aluminium frames regularly with fresh water to help remove salt build up.

For the best long term care, we recommend keeping the set under cover during winter or when it is not being used for extended periods.
