Looking for one of the best value pergolas in New Zealand? We said what we said.

The Elements 3m x 3m Freestanding Pergola is designed to give Kiwi homes the clean, premium louvre pergola look, without the premium aluminium pergola price tag. It is sharp, sturdy, modern, and starts from just $1,299, which is pretty hard to argue with.

Made from ZAM coated galvanised steel, with galvanised steel, aluminium components and 304 stainless steel screws, Elements is built for real Kiwi backyards, not just pretty showroom photos. Although, to be fair, it does look bloody good in photos too.

The 3m x 3m Elements Pergola is our smallest freestanding size and a smart option for anyone wanting shade, shelter, adjustable louvres and a proper outdoor living upgrade without needing to sell a kidney.

Colours Available:

  • Matte Black Frame with Black Louvres
  • Matte White Frame with White Louvre

Best For:

  • Kiwi homeowners wanting a stylish outdoor living upgrade
  • Backyards, patios, decks and entertaining areas
  • Anyone wanting an adjustable louvre roof without spending aluminium pergola money
  • Customers looking for one of the best value pergola options in NZ
  • People thinking about upgrading their home before summer
  • Anyone selling their house and wanting a sharp outdoor upgrade that looks expensive, without being ridiculous.

ON DISPLAY IN OUR AUCKLAND SHOWROOM:

Want to see it before ordering? Good idea. The Elements Pergola Range is on display in our Auckland showroom, so you can check out the finish, scale and build quality for yourself. Come have a look, open the louvres, stand under it, judge it like you’re on The Block. We support that.

Why Elements Is One Of NZ’s Best Value Pergola Options:

Elements is not an aluminium pergola. It is a premium look steel pergola made using galvanised steel with a zinc, aluminium and magnesium alloy coating, often referred to as ZAM coated steel. In normal people terms: it’s steel, with a seriously good protective coating.

That means you get a strong, solid feeling pergola with a sleek modern profile, adjustable louvre roof, rainwater gutter system and a 5 year warranty, all at a price that makes serious sense.

If you are comparing pergolas in NZ and want the best mix of value, looks and durability, Elements is built to be a smarter alternative to expensive aluminium pergolas.

Affordable, premium, built for NZ. That’s the Container Door way.

What Is ZAM Coated Galvanised Steel?

ZAM coated galvanised steel is steel coated with an alloy of zinc, aluminium and magnesium. It is not aluminium. This advanced coating is designed to improve long term corrosion resistance compared with standard galvanised steel, while keeping the strength and solid feel of steel.

ZAM coated steel is commonly used in outdoor structures, carports, canopies, solar structures and industrial applications because it offers a strong, durable base material with a protective coating that is made to work hard.

Basically, it’s tough, tidy, and not here to blow away in a hurry.

Common Composition:

Care Instructions:
With a little regular care, your Elements Pergola will keep its sharp, modern look for years...

  • Rinse the frame with fresh water to remove salt, dust and grime. In coastal areas, clean more often. Salt air is not your pergola’s best mate.
  • If surface spots appear from rain, pollen, limescale or mineral deposits, gently clean with a mild detergent solution.
  • ZAM coating is self protecting to a degree, meaning small scratches can often protect themselves over time. For deeper chips, apply a small amount of galvanised touch up paint to help maintain long term protection.
  • Look after it, and it’ll look after your backyard.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS:
This structure is a non-permanent structure and warranty does not cover fading or damage incurred due to extreme weather exposure (including heavy rain, winds, exposure to high heat from bbqs and heaters and well unfortunately strong weather events). It also does not cover damage to the pergola caused by negligence, accident or misuse. Please follow the instruction manual for installation as damage caused by not following the instructions will void your warranty.

Warranty covers domestic use only and does not apply to commercial use. However, we will do our best to help with any issues or replacements parts.

Additional Building Information:
In some cases, a building or resource consent may be needed. Building work related to porches and verandas up to 20 square meters generally does not require a building consent. However, it's important to note that local councils may have specific requirements or restrictions. We recommend checking with your local council authorities for further information and guidance before installation if needed. Especially for pergolas over 20 square metres or if you are considering building close to load-bearing walls.
