CLEANING & MAINTENANCE:

Corten or powder coated steel fire pits will naturally develop surface rust over time—this is not a defect but a natural process.

To maintain black powder-coated fireplaces, clean it with a damp cloth and dry it thoroughly. Grates should be coated with a thin layer of edible oil regularly to prevent rusting. Use a cover if applicable when not in use to protect from the elements. If the surface becomes scratched, clean and repaint the area to prevent rust formation.
