Care & Maintenance : 
  • Although powder-coated, steel may still rust if the coating is scratched or chipped.
  • Apply a rust inhibitor such as Guardsman Weather Defence Metal Protector to all metal surfaces, paying extra attention around bolts and joins where scratches can occur.
  • Wipe regularly with mild soapy water and a damp cloth, avoid abrasive cleaners. Rinse off salt, dust, or bird droppings promptly. Use a protective cover or store undercover when not in use. If near the coast, rinse frequently to prevent salt corrosion.
  • During winter or wet weather, store indoors and keep cushions dry.
  • Store cushions separately when not in use to extend their life. 

Disclaimer:
While powder coating provides excellent protection against rust and corrosion, over time steel can still show signs of deterioration particularly around bolts, welds, and joins. Regular maintenance and the use of a rust preventative or inhibitor are recommended to ensure maximum durability.
