Add some genuine cowhide flair to your décor with this exceptional statement replica designer chair at an exceptional price!
Unbelievably, the original Basculant Cowhide chair was designed by Le Corbusier in 1928 and was modelled on an English army officer's chair. Doing away with unnecessary padding and fabric, the simplicity of the chair was intended to highlight the architectural aspects of the frame, arm, back and seat. All done rather splendidly we'd say!
The tilted back of the chair pivots so that user is always supported no matter what their sitting position. Cords under the seat hold the hide cover in place while also providing elastic support as do the banded armrests. The cowhide upholstery introduces an organic element that contrasts spectacularly with the cool, contemporary finish and structure of the stainless steel.
Relevant from 1928 to today - and beyond - the hallmark of an enduring style icon indeed!
